1 Cor 12:27-31 "but when completeness comes". I am amazed that the level of interpretation that these few words have rendered. The "completeness" is seen as the canon of scripture being completed and therefore all the gifts are seen to be either null and void or childish in major evangelical circles.
Shame the power of God is untapped in many parts of our "bodies". What would happen if we turned off the blood supply to any of our extremities or organs? surely the same is happening spiritually. Numb and Cold and white, then deep blue and gangrene sets in. Next step is to amputate the part for the sake of the whole! Not a pretty sight or a way to live.
